COOL bikes for schools in Namibia 06.09.2009

In cooperation with Air Namibia and the Govenment of Namibia the "cool project", cycle to school, was designed and started. Its aim is to supply 4000 special bikes for a school in north-eastern Namibia to facilitate its pupils to reach the school. Right now students have to walk up to 13km to reach class In cooperation with the Michelle McLean Childerns Trust (MMCT) the lastest consignment of Schauff made bicycles were given to two schools in Omusati and Oshana regions, nominated by the Patron of the MMCT, Dr Sam Nujoma. Two local campusses are developing a bicycle ride simulator using VR technology and Schauff bikes. First results are shown at the Hannover Messe at the booth of the "Wissenschaftsregion Bonn" in hall2, booth D35.

25 plus 1 years of Schauff MTBs 15.03.2007

In 1981 SCHAUFF displayed the first Mountainbike in Europe at the ISPO show in Munich. Is was not an import, but "made in W. Germany", as it was said at that time. bikes for hospitals in central Africa 04.12.2006

For many years Schauff bikes are in use for hospital work in central Africa. This december a batch of 100 new bikes will start the long travel by road and sea.
